Founded in 2024, The Crown International SMP Association (CISMA) was established to provide a global platform for the exchange of knowledge, techniques, and innovation within the field of scalp micropigmentation. The Association is dedicated to advancing the professionalism, artistry, and safety standards of SMP worldwide.

As the leading authority in scalp micropigmentation, CISMA sets the benchmark for ongoing education, certification, and ethical practice — ensuring members remain at the forefront of industry excellence. The Crown International SMP Association (CISMA) members are recognised professionals who uphold the highest standards within their respective regions, creating a unified network that connects practitioners, educators, and organisations across the globe.

We are committed to establishing industry standards and best practices, fostering a community of skilled Scalp Micropigmentation artists, and ensuring the well- being of Scalp Micropigmentation clients. Through education, regulation, and collaboration, we empower our members to deliver the highest quality Scalp Micropigmentation services while upholding the highest ethical standards.

John Chandler

Matt Iulo

Matthew began his journey after losing his hair in college and flying overseas to get the treatment done himself. Seeing the amazing scalp micropigmentation transformation first hand, he immediately began training with some of the early innovators in the field. Matthew Iulo helped bring scalp micropigmentation to the United States, opening up his first clinic in New York City.

He is recognized as one of the best practitioners in the industry and has treated thousands of clients. Matt now runs the #1 scalp micropigmentation training program.

With over 3000 successful treatments completed, over the years I have done extensive research into scalp anatomy and implantation with needles and pigments both organic and inorganic. This has provided me with a wealth of knowledge of scalp micropigmentation procedures.  It’s not just dots!

Simon Began his SMP career in February 2011, and is one of worlds longest serving practitioners. Recognised as a pioneer and innovator of SMP natural hairlines, density replication and scar camouflage.

A multi award winning practitioner, voted best Uk Practitioner and received Out standing contribution to the industry awards in the U.S.A and U.K. A Master trainer for Leaders Training Academy , Simon is based in Birmingham United Kingdom. 

Seif Sidky

The founder and owner of International Hairlines, Seif is a well-respected award-winning international SMP artist and trainer. Having opened the Middle East and Africa’s first and largest SMP clinics located in Cairo and Alexandria, Egypt, as well as operating clinics in Florida, USA, Seif is passionate about bringing this life changing treatment and business opportunity to these and other emerging markets. A consummate perfectionist, his innate attention to detail, combined with his passion for helping people feel their best has helped him produce some outstanding scalp micropigmentation work on clients of different backgrounds

Tony Abbagnato​

Team Pygmenta Black Rain: Tony is the eldest of the three brothers behind this brand. In 2013, he decided to choose scalp micropigmentation to fix his “head” and thus, he has full understanding of the psychological dynamics and discomfort caused by baldness that customers experience daily.

Tony has a long international career as an artist & trainer, having performed thousands of treatments, his career has taken him around the world, Tony honed his skills and improved his techniques in London

Kate Dawes​

Kate Dawes IAT is the co-founder and company director of Foli Sim Scalp Micropigmentation. She has been in the hair industry for 40 years and is a certified Trichologist as well as a SMP artist.
